I understand the journey because I’ve lived it

This retreat is the culmination of my own lived experience, designed to be the balanced, supportive place I wish had existed during my own transformation

My Story

I never thought I'd be the one who let fitness slip away. As someone who proudly wore Great Britain's colors at university competitions, training wasn't just something I did—it was who I was.

Then life happened. London's financial district, late client dinners, and the endless cycle of "I'll start on Monday" took over. Over the years, I jumped from strict keto to intermittent fasting and pushed through five-day fasts wondering if the benefits were real.

Fast forward 20 years, Bodykhana emerged from the trenches of real life—my life as a city dweller riding the same roller coaster of fitness frustrations you probably know all too well.

Bodykhana is what I wish I'd had when I first started—a place to go for a kick start and where i could learn from others real life learnt through experience, stripped of the nonsense that clutters the fitness industry.

This isn't just another retreat; it's a course correction built on that experience. It's what happens when someone who's tried everything finally figures out what actually works and decides to share it with others still searching for their path.

The Turning Point

My initial turning point came when I booked myself into a bootcamp in Spain—half desperate, half hopeful that time away might help.

That decision sparked an unexpected journey—shedding 35 kg and eventually becoming a trainer at that same retreat.

Since then, I've trained and coached hundreds of clients, witnessing their transformations.

When Injury Became My Greatest Teacher

In another twist of fate a herniated disc forced me to slow down, I was forced to turn to yoga and discovered it wasn't just for "flexible people"—it was medicine for my broken body and mind. Becoming certified wasn't the plan, but the deeper I went into yoga and then meditation, and breath work, the more I realized these practices were missing pieces from my fitness puzzle.

I became a retreat junkie, sampling wellness experiences across the spectrum—from military-style boot camps to silent meditation retreats. With each experience, I took mental notes: "This works. This doesn't. This should be optional. This feels like punishment rather than growth."

That's when I decided that my own fitness retreat would be different. I would incorporate these practices as optional extras—available for those curious to try them, but never forced. I wanted to create a space where people could discover their own personal missing pieces, just as I had found mine.

Bridging the Gap Between Retreat and Reality

But something was still missing. The physical transformation was powerful, but I watched too many people—including myself—return home only to slide back into old patterns. That's when I dedicated myself to becoming a master health coach and behavioral change expert. This became the final missing piece in the puzzle: understanding how to build lasting habits that wouldn't disappear when clients left camp. Learning the psychology behind sustainable change transformed not just my approach to fitness, but my entire philosophy of wellness.

My Promise to You

What I guarantee above all is results. The program delivers what I know works with hundreds of clients—a sanctuary where you can escape daily pressures and rebuild your relationship with your body and mind.

Somewhere that respects your individuality, and feels more like a wellness vacation than fitness boot camp but without taking away the intensity and benefits that come from pushing yourself to do hard things.

Whether you're at a major crossroads or just need to press the reset button, your Bodykhana experience awaits—come see what's possible when you give yourself the gift of time and space.
